Sonic saviors Psych-O-Positive descend from the heavens to rescue the masses from repression with a new Godzilla inspired single. Boldly embracing the love of all, with MOTHRA, Psych-O-Positive brings to life a multilayered concept song full of psychedelia and hope in equal measure. Exhibiting their acumen for having their finger on the pulse of culture, this release is a rare but timely cover. The Psychos attune to the zeitgeist and await the battle to come with supreme confidence. Perfectly timed to coincide with heightened interest in heroes and monsters, MOTHRA by Psych-O-Positive is the antidote to rote rock. Soaring guitars elevate the listener and transport them into the stratosphere and never let up straight through to the trippy and heroic end.

About PSYCH-O-POSITIVE

If you took all the great punk bands of the 80’s (like Gut Bank and Sexpod), threw them in ablender with the best all female and Antifolk bands of the 90’s (like The Aquanettas, The Sprinkle Genies, and tranceSenders), let that blender spin from the aughts through the late teens, and then at the dawn of 2020 threw it full force into a brick wall, the impact, shattering glass, and slow spill down the wall would approximate the sound of psych-O-positive.
